Opal Garcia ID’d as Woman Killed in Alice Pedestrian Accident on Front Street
Alice, Texas (January 8, 2019) – The woman who was fatally struck by a vehicle earlier last month in Alice has been identified as Opal Garcia, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly accident happened at an unspecified time on Wednesday, December 12, on Front Street.
Authorities said Garcia was walking down or attempting to cross the street when a car struck her.
Garcia was taken by the EMS to a hospital where she later died.
No other information was provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
