Travis County, Texas (June 23, 2019) – A person was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night in Travis County, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The incident was reported just before 10 p.m. Saturday, June 22, on FM 1625 and South U.S. 183.
Medics said a man was found lying unconscious in the middle of the roadway. The victim, who was not immediately identified, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
