Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Sam Houston Parkway in Houston

One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Sam Houston Parkway Service Road

Houston, Texas (September 23, 2020) – According to police, one person was killed in a pedestrian accident Saturday morning in Houston.

The deadly accident happened at about 5:25 a.m., September 19, in the 11600 block of South Sam Houston Parkway service road.

Police said the pedestrian was walking westbound on the center lane of the service road when she was struck by a westbound green Chevrolet Tahoe.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The Tahoe driver remained at the scene after the accident.

An investigation is underway.
