Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run on Westheimer in Houston

One Killed in West Houston Pedestrian Accident on Westheimer Road near Lazy Hollow Drive

Houston, Texas (September 16, 2022) – According to the police, a pedestrian who was using a walker was killed early Friday morning in a hit-and-run crash in West Houston.

The fatal crash happened just after 5:00 a.m., on Westheimer Road near Lazy Hollow Drive.

Police said the pedestrian was struck and dragged a mile to a mile and a half down the road.

Multiple body parts were found between Lazy Hollow and Hullsmith Drive. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The vehicle(s) involved in the crash failed to stop and render aid.

It was dark at the time of the crash.

The crash closed all eastbound lanes of Westheimer between Lazy Hollow and Hullsmith.

The police are investigating the crash.
