Callahan County, Texas (September 26, 2020) – Two people were killed in a motorcycle crash Friday night in Callahan County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on September 25, at the intersection of US 283 and FM 2926, 19 miles South of Baird.

DPS said Randell L. Myers, 67, and Cynthia D. Myers, 64, from Abilene, were riding in a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle and were stopped at a stop sign at the intersection. The motorcycle then pulled out wide in front of a 2014 Toyota pickup that was traveling northbound on US 283 and was hit.

Both Randell and Cynthia were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
