Robert Haley Killed in East Mountain Two-Vehicle Crash at State Highway 300 and FM 726

East Mountain, Texas – According to the police, one person was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash near East Mountain.

The fatal crash happened around 2:30 p.m., February 5, at the intersection of State Highway 300 and FM 726.

Police said two vehicles collided at the intersection. 

One person was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated. The victim was killed in the crash. He has been identified as Robert Haley of Ore City. Three other people were out of the car and were being attended by an off-duty nurse.

The driver and occupants of the second vehicle were transported to a local hospital where they were treated and later released.

The crash remains under investigation.
