Samuel Martinez-Perales Killed in Harlingen Pedestrian Accident at E. Buchanan Avenue and South First Street

Harlingen, Texas (January 27, 2021) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Tuesday night in Harlingen, according to police.

The deadly accident happened just after 7:20 p.m., January 26, at the intersection of E. Buchanan Avenue and South First Street.

Police said a 25-year-old Harlingen man was driving a vehicle when he hit Samuel Martinez-Perales,68.

Martinez-Perales was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

No other information was available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
