Two Injured in NW Austin Two-Vehicle Crash at Capital of Texas Highway and Waymaker Way

Austin, Texas (August 18, 2020) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Northwest Austin, according to officials.

The crash happened around 4:32 p.m., August 17, at the intersection of Capital of Texas Highway and Waymaker Way.

Officials said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was taken to South Austin Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. A second victim sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No other information was immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
