Woman and Two Children Hospitalized after Brownsville Crash on Padre Island Highway

Brownsville, Texas (July 20, 2023) – A woman and two children were hospitalized after a traffic crash in Brownsville on Wednesday morning, according to police.

The crash was reported at around 9:00 a.m. in the 1600 block of Padre Island Highway.

Police said an 18-wheelee slammed into a vehicle under unclear circumstances.

One woman and two children sustain non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

The crash remains under investigation.
