Woman Killed in NE Austin Pedestrian Accident at East St. Johns Avenue and Cameron Road

Austin, Texas (March 5, 2021) – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday night in Northeast Austin, a local news source reported.

The deadly accident happened around 9:40 p.m., March 4, at the intersection of East St. Johns Avenue and Cameron Road.

Police said the woman fell in the middle of the street and was run over by a car.

The car fled the scene after the accident.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

Officers are looking for the suspect driver.

The police are investigating the crash.
