Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on South W.W. White Road in San Antonio

Woman Killed in San Antonio Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on South W.W. White Road

San Antonio, Texas (March 23, 2020) – A San Antonio woman was killed early Monday morning in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio’s East Side, police said.

The accident was reported around 2:30 a.m. in the 2250 block of South W.W. White Road.

Police said the woman was struck by an unknown vehicle that then fled the scene.

The victim was found face down in standing water on the shoulder of the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

A broken headlight and other plastic car parts were found at the scene. 

The authorities are looking for the suspect, who, if found, will face charges of failure to stop and render aid. 

An investigation into the crash is underway.
