One Injured in Dayton Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 99

Dayton, Texas (July 22, 2022) – One person was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Dayton, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on Interstate 99.

Authorities said a Ford F250 was heading southbound on the interstate, and the driver was apparently looking at another crash scene when he crossed into the oncoming lane and hit an 18-wheeler.

The Ford driver was airlifted to a Houston-area trauma center with unknown injuries.

No other information regarding this crash was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
