18-Year-Old Hit by Car, Critically Injured on Southton Road in San Antonio

18-Year-Old Critically Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Southton Road

San Antonio, Texas (June 12, 2021) – An 18-year-old woman was critically injured after being hit by a car on Saturday in San Antonio, according to the police.

The accident happened on Southton Road.

Police said two young women were traveling when their car broke down on the side of the road, and they abandoned it and began walking home.

One of them was then struck by a northbound vehicle.

The victim was taken to University Hospital with life-threatening injuries. She was listed in critical condition.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
