Charlton Harris Arrested in Fatal Arlington Two-Vehicle Crash at Arkansas Lane and Cooper

Arlington, Texas (July 17, 2021) – According to the police, the driver involved in a fatal crash that left a father of three dead earlier this month in Arlington has been arrested.

42-year-old Charlton Harris was arrested on Thursday and has been charged.

The deadly crash happened on July 2, at the intersection of Arkansas Lane and Cooper.

Police said Harris was driving a Toyota Camry at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light and crashed into a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Douglas Oseimo.

Harris fled the scene on foot.

Oseimo was killed in the accident.

Harris was located at a motel in Grand Prairie Thursday evening, and he was taken into custody. He was being held at the Tarrant County jail and has been charged with murder, accident involving death, and public intoxication.

The authorities are conducting the investigation.
