Child Hospitalized after San Antonio Car Crash at South Chupaderas and San Fernando Streets

San Antonio, Texas (April 8, 2019) – A child was hospitalized following a crash between two vehicles at an intersection on San Antonio’s West Side Sunday evening.
According to the police, the wreck happened at about 6:30 p.m. April 7, at South Chupaderas and San Fernando streets.
Police said two vehicles collided at the intersection and one of them was sent into the yard of a home nearby. Details on the events leading up to the crash were not immediately available.
A child riding in one of the vehicles was taken to University Hospital with a possible broken leg.
Police said intoxication was not a factor in this accident.
None of the drivers is expected to face charges, according to police.
