Dean Lee Riley Killed in Culberson County Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 62

Culberson County, Texas (May 24, 2023) – A man was killed on Monday night in a rollover crash in Culberson County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on May 22, on U.S. Highway 62, about 10 miles west of Guadalupe Mountains National Park.

DPS said Dean Lee Riley, 49, of Dell City, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado eastbound in the westbound lane of the highway when he crashed into the side of a Volvo truck tractor towing a semitrailer.

The Silverado left the roadway after the crash and rolled over, ejecting Riley. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
