Dominic Sustarsic Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on N Loop 1604

San Antonio, Texas (August 18, 2020) – According to a local news source, police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who left a male pedestrian injured in June in San Antonio’s Northside.

The accident happened around 1:00 a.m., June 28, on the N Loop 1604 access road, just West of Agave pass.

Authorities said Dominic Sustarsic, 24, was walking westbound to a nearby hotel when he was hit by a passing car.

The driver of the car fled the scene without rendering aid.

Sustarsic was later found on the left shoulder of the highway with serious injuries.

Investigators said the involved car was a 2012-2017 Volkswagen Tiguan and should have damage to the front bumper and windshield on the driver’s side.

Officers are looking for the suspect who, if found, could be facing Hit and Run and Failure to Stop and Render Aid charges.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call 210-224-STOP (210-224-7867). Crime Stoppers is paying up to $5,000.
