Erick Hernandez Killed in SE Austin Pedestrian Accident on East Slaughter Lane near I-35

Austin, Texas (August 30, 2022) – The man who was killed Tuesday night in a pedestrian accident in Southeast Austin has been identified as 33-year-old Erick Hernandez, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:47 p.m., August 23, in the 700 block of East Slaughter Lane, just east of the intersection with I-35.

Police said Hernandez was struck by a vehicle on East Slaughter Lane.

Hernandez was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
