Fred Marsh Struck, Killed by Tractor Trailer on I-10 in Orange County

Fred Marsh Killed in Orange County Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10

Orange County, Texas (October 17, 2023) – According to the Texas DPS, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer early Wednesday morning in Orange County.

The deadly accident happened around 1:40 a.m., October 11, near the 876-mile marker of Interstate 10.

DPS said a Freightliner truck tractor semi-trailer was traveling westbound when it struck Fred Baker Marsh Jr., 55, of Orange, who was walking in the roadway.

Marsh was killed in the crash.

The Freightliner driver, 27-year-old Jose Cabrera of Florida, was not injured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
