Jeanette Garcia Castellanos Killed in Bell County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 190

Bell County, Texas (March 14, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a wrong-way crash Thursday night in Bell County, according to Texas DPS.

The deadly crash happened just before 9:30 p.m., March 11, on US 190 near Heidenheimer.

DPS said a Toyota Corolla was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the highway when it crashed head-on into a Dodge truck.

The Corolla driver, Jeanette Garcia Castellanos, 45, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The Dodge driver was taken to Baylor Scott and White with incapacitating injuries. His name has not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
