Juan Perez Jr. Killed in Benbrook Motorcycle Crash on SH 183 at I-20; Raymond Hawkins Arrested

Benbrook, Texas (January 25, 2022) – A man was killed early Saturday morning in a motorcycle crash near Benbrook, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 2:00 a.m., January 22, on State Highway 183 at Interstate 20.

Police said Juan Perez Jr., 43, of Fort Worth, was riding a motorcycle eastbound on SH 183 to enter I-20 when he was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Raymond Hawkins, 47.

Perez was killed in the crash.

Hawkins was arrested and has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The police are investigating the crash.
