Man Hit, Critical Injured by Vehicle on Highway 290 in Oak Hill

Man Hospitalized after Oak Hill Pedestrian Accident on Highway 290 at McCarty Lane

Oak Hill, Texas (August 19, 2022) – A man was critically injured after he was struck by a vehicle early Friday morning in Oak Hill, according to Austin police.

The crash happened at about 1:27 a.m. in the 6322-6601 bock of W U.S. Highway 290 at McCarty Lane.

Police said the man was hit by a vehicle that was traveling westbound on Highway 290.

The man was taken to St. David’s South with critical, life-threatening injuries.

This crash remains under investigation. Additional information is not available at this time.
