Man Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on I-30 near Edgefield Avenue

Dallas, Texas (February 10, 2022) – A man was fatally hit by an 18-wheeler Thursday morning in West Dallas, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened around 5:20 a.m., on I-30 near Edgefield Avenue,

Authorities said the man was walking on the express lanes of the highway and was wearing dark clothing when he was struck by an 18-wheeler in the left lane.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The accident closed all the westbound lanes of the interstate.

An investigation is underway.
