Man Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on San Fernando Street in San Antonio

Man Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on San Fernando Street near Lanier High School

San Antonio, Texas (March 15, 2021) – A man in his 20s was injured in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday morning in San Antonio, according to police.

The accident occurred around 1:00 a.m., March 14, on San Fernando Street near Lanier High School.

Police said the man was helping a young girl to cross the street when he was hit by a truck.

The truck fled the scene after the accident.

The man sustained leg and knee injuries in the crash and was treated at the scene.

The police are looking for a burgundy pickup truck, possibly a Ford F-150, which was believed to have been involved in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
