Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North I-610 Loop near Wallisville Road

Houston, Texas (March 7, 2023) – A man was killed Monday night in a hit-and-run accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 7:21 p.m., March 6, on the North I-610 Loop just before Wallisville Road.

Police said the man was assisting someone change a flat tire on the freeway. Another driver hit a truck two lanes over, pushing it into the man.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The driver who hit the victim fled the scene, and the police were looking for them.

The police are investigating the crash.
