One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 at Sheldon
Houston, Texas (January 7, 2019) – A man in a wheelchair was fatally struck by a big rig on Monday along the East Freeway in Houston, according to a local release.
The deadly accident happened at an unspecified time on the feeder road of Interstate 10 at Sheldon.
Authorities said the man, who was in a wheelchair, was struck by a big rig on the freeway for unknown reasons.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not immediately disclosed.
The authorities closed all the westbound feeder lanes between Sheldon and Dell Dale following the crash.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
