Police Officer Injured in San Juan Two-Vehicle Crash at Sioux Road and Raul Longoria Road
San Juan, Texas (April 24, 2019) – A San Juan police officer was injured in a hit-and-run accident Sunday night, according to a local news source.
The crash happened on Sunday, April 21, off Sioux Road and Raul Longoria Road.
As per the report, the officer’s cruiser was hit by another vehicle driven by Pedro Guerro, 20.
The officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Guerro fled the scene after the accident. He was later arrested on charges of driving under the influence with someone under the age of 15 years of age and accident involving damage. His bond was set at $30,000.
The crash remains under investigation.
