Woman Killed in Washington County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 290 near Shady Acres Lane

Washington County, Texas (February 25, 2021) – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday in Washington County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on February 20, on Highway 290 near Shady Acres Lane outside of Brenham.

DPS said a Volkswagen Jetta turned into the path of a Toyota Corolla, resulting in a collision.

A woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has been released.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

No other information regarding the crash was provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
