One Killed in SW Houston Train-Pedestrian Crash on Hillcroft Avenue

Houston, Texas (December 5, 2023) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train Monday evening in southwest Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 5:16 p.m., December 4, on Hillcroft Avenue.

Police said a person was on the train tracks when they were struck by a Union Pacific Railroad train.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

No additional information was available.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
