Pilot Killed in Burleson Plane Crash on Renfro Street near Spinks Airport

Burleson, Texas (December 20, 2020) – A pilot was killed Saturday afternoon in a plane crash at a Burleson parking lot, according to authorities.

The deadly crash happened on December 19, in the back parking lot of a business in the 600 block of E. Renfro Street, south of a runway near Spinks Airport.

FAA said the Sonex experimental aircraft was approaching Spinks Airport when it crashed in the parking lot of the business.

The pilot was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The business was not damaged in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
