Robby Connel Killed in Denton Pedestrian Accident at Mayhill Road and I-35E

Denton, Texas (September 28, 2020) – The 50-year-old Dallas man who was killed in a pedestrian accident Saturday night in Denton has been identified as Robby Connel, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.

The deadly accident happened at about 11:00 p.m., September 26, in the area of Mayhill Road and the I35E service road near Medical City Denton.

Police said Connel was struck by a passing vehicle at the intersection.

Connel was taken to Medical City Denton with major injuries where he later died. 

The authorities are investigating the crash.
