One Killed and Three Injured in Grand Prairie Crash on South Belt Line Road

Grand Prairie, Texas (March 26, 2023) – One person was killed, and three others were injured Friday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Grand Prairie, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 6:40 a.m., March 24, in the 1800 block of South Belt Line Road.

Police said a Chevy passenger car veered into a Ford pickup truck before continuing southbound and hitting a Dodge pickup.

The drivers of the Ford and the Dodge were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Chevy driver was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

A passenger in the Chevy was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Officers said weather might have contributed to the collision.

The crash remains under investigation.
