Susana Barnes Killed in Austin Bus Crash on East Highway 71

Austin, Texas – The person who was killed earlier this month in a bus crash in Austin has been identified as Susana Barnes, according to the police.

The deadly crash happened around 9:37 a.m., December 11, in the 2700 block of East Highway 71 westbound.

Police said a sedan and a CapMetro bus were involved in the crash.

All occupants from the sedan were transported to a local hospital where one of them, Barnes, died.

The CapMetro bus driver was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
