William Earl Taylor Killed in Plano Motorcycle Accident on Custer Road at Winterstone Drive

Plano, Texas (September 2, 2020) – A man was killed Saturday night in a motorcycle accident in Plano, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 9:30 p.m., August 29, in the area of the 3500 block of Custer Road and the 2100 block of Winterstone Drive.

Police said a Chevy HHR was traveling northbound on Custer Road and was turning westbound onto Winterstone Drive.

William Earl Taylor, 30, of Dallas, was riding a Suzuki motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the HHR.

Taylor was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Investigators said speed was a factor in the crash.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
