1 Killed, 4 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Mangum and Sherwood Lane in Houston

Houston, Texas – One person was killed and four others were injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in northwest Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 9:00 p.m., April 14, at the intersection of Mangum and Sherwood Lane.

Police said a Chevy Tahoe was traveling southbound on Mangum when it failed to yield the right of way when making the left turn onto Sherwood Lane, and was struck by a BMW.

An adult in the Tahoe was killed in the crash.

A child in the Tahoe was ejected and was taken to the hospital. Another child and another adult were also taken to the hospital for treatment.

A man in the BMW was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
