1 Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on US 290 in Austin

One Killed in North Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on US 290

Austin, Texas (March 15, 2023) – One person was killed Sunday evening in a two-vehicle crash in north Austin, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened shortly before 6:00 p.m., March 12, in the 6300 block of West U.S. Highway 290.

Police said an SUV and a pickup truck were involved in the crash.

The SUV driver was taken to the hospital, where they later died. Their identity has not been released.

The driver and passenger in the pickup truck were taken to the hospital with non-serious injuries.
