One Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident near North Lamar Boulevard and West Caddo Street

Austin, Texas (April 2, 2022) – One person was killed Friday night in a pedestrian accident in north Austin, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened around 11:00 p.m., April 1, near the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and West Caddo Street.

Officials said a person was hit by a vehicle near the intersection.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident.

No other information was available.

An investigation is underway.
