Six Injured in Starr County Two-Vehicle Crash at US 83 and Rio Concho Street

Starr County, Texas (December 29, 2020) – Six people were injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Starr County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened on December 28, at the intersection of US 83 and Rio Concho Street.

DPS said a white pickup was attempting to turn onto US 83 when it failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a van that was traveling on US 83.

The pickup driver was taken to the hospital with major injuries and was listed in critical condition.

The van driver and passengers, a female and three children, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
