Alicea Shafer and One Other Killed in Bell County Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 190
Bell County, Texas (October 29, 2019) – Two people were killed Monday afternoon in a head-on collision between Heidenheimer and Rogers in rural Bell County, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash occurred around 2:10 p.m. October 28, on U.S. Highway 190.
Authorities said a Kia passenger car was heading eastbound when it crossed the center-line and collided head-on with a westbound Chevrolet SUV.
Both the driver of the Kia, Alicea Shafer, 48, of Rogers, and the driver of the SUV, were declared dead at the scene.
A passenger in the SUV was taken to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple in critical condition.
An investigation is underway.
