Jataria Lynn Smith Killed, Ronnie Dewayne Smith and Robin Blake Longino Injured in Smith County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 64

Smith County, Texas (August 24, 2020) – One person was killed, and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Smith County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash occurred at about 10:20 a.m., August 23, on Highway 64.

DPS said a Ford F-150 pulled out of a Chevron gas station and was struck by an eastbound Saturn Ion.

The Ford driver, 60-year-old Robin Blake Longino, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The Saturn driver, Ronnie Dewayne Smith,40, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

A passenger in the Saturn, 26-year-old Jataria Lynn Smith, was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
