Man Killed in Hit-and-Run on Murdeaux Lane in Dallas

Dallas, Texas – A man was killed on Saturday in a hit-and-run accident in Dallas, according to the Dallas Police Department.

The deadly accident happened around 11:45 p.m., June 8, in the 100 block of N. Murdeaux Lane at the intersection of Great Trinity Forest Way.

Police said an SUV was traveling westbound in the 7400 block of Great Trinity Forest Way and was turning northbound into N. Murdeaux Lane when it struck the man who was in the roadway.

A second vehicle that was traveling southbound in the 100 block of N. Murdeaux Lane also hit the man while turning westbound onto Great Trinity Forest Way.

Both vehicles fled the scene after the accident.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he later died. His name has not been released.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
