Ryan Hinojosa Injured in Lubbock Multi-Vehicle Crash near 19th Street and Milwaukee Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (October 18, 2021) – One person was injured Sunday morning in an officer-involved crash in Lubbock, according to the police.

The crash happened on October 17, near the intersection of 19th St. and Milwaukee Avenue.

Police said officers were on the scene of a single-vehicle crash near the intersection when Ryan Hinojosa, 19, crashed into one of their patrol vehicles with his SUV. The impact pushed the patrol vehicle into the other patrol vehicle.

Hinojosa sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No officers were injured in the crash.

The LPD’s Major Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
