Vivian Michelle Gonzalez Killed in Killeen Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 195 at Chaparral Road

Killeen, Texas (December 24, 2019) – The teenager who was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash that left a man dead Saturday night in Killeen has died, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred around 11:58 p.m. on December 21, in the area of Texas 195 and Chaparral Road.

Police said Patrick Stephens, 21, was turning left on Texas 195 off of Chaparral Road at a green light in his Hyundai Elantra when a northbound Nissan Armada ran the red light and hit him.

Stephens was declared dead at the scene. His passenger, Vivian Michelle Gonzalez, 19, was taken to the Carl R. Darnall Medical Center and then transferred to Scott & White with life-threatening injuries, where she died on Monday, December 23.

The driver and two passengers of the Armada sustained minor injuries.

An investigation is underway.
