Woman Hit, Killed by Vehicle on W. Mount Houston Road in Harris County

Woman Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on W. Mount Houston Road

Houston, Texas – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle Monday morning in Harris County, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident happened around 5:30 a.m., in the 950 block of W. Mount Houston Road.

Deputies said the woman was pushing a shopping cart in a dark area with no crosswalk when she was struck by a westbound black Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The Dodge driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
