1 Killed in Fiery Wrong-Way Crash on Loop 1604 at Hwy 90 in San Antonio

One Killed in San Antonio Dump Truck Crash on SB Loop 1604 at Highway 90

San Antonio, Texas (September 1, 2020) – One person was killed in a fiery wrong-way crash early Monday morning in San Antonio, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 6:00 a.m., August 31, on southbound Loop 1604 at Highway 90.

Deputies said a vehicle was traveling the wrong way on Loop 1604 when it crashed head-on into a dump truck.

The vehicle caught fire after the impact.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger and driver in the dump truck were uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
