2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Grand Parkway in Katy

Katy, Texas – Two people were injured early Monday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in Katy, according to the Katy Police Department.

The crash happened just before 12:45 a.m., May 20, on Grand Parkway just south of Highland Knolls.

Police said multiple vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was pinned in one of the vehicles. The person was extricated and airlifted to the hospital for treatment.  A second victim was also airlifted to the hospital for treatment. One of the victims had life-threatening injuries.

No additional information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
