Two Pilots Injured in Kingsville Jet Crash at Naval Air Station
Kingsville, Texas (May 11, 2019) – Two pilots were injured Friday afternoon in a jet crash in Kingsville, according to a local news release.
The crash was reported at about 3:15 p.m. May 10, at the Naval Air Station.
As per the report, two pilots were flying in a T-45 trainer jet when they saw an engine warning light come on right before taking off.
The aircraft crashed on the runway, ejecting the pilots.
The pilots were taken to the hospital for treatment.
No further details were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
