Brandon Duckett Killed in Nacogdoches Pedestrian Accident on South Street near SE Stallings Drive
Nacogdoches, Texas (May 14, 2019) – The man who was critically injured earlier this month in a pedestrian accident in Nacogdoches has died, police said.
The accident happened on Saturday, May 4, in the 3200 block of South Street near SE Stallings Drive.
Police said Brandon Lane Duckett, 23, of Nacogdoches, was attempting to cross the street when a southbound vehicle hit him. He was also hit by a second vehicle.
The first driver stayed at the scene but the second driver fled the scene.
Duckett was taken to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital with critical injuries where he died on May 8.
The Nacogdoches Police Department is investigating the accident.
