Divya Avula and Raja Gavini Killed in Frisco Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 423 and De Webb Boulevard

Frisco, Texas (February 24, 2020) – 34-year-old Divya Avula, and her husband, 41-year-old Raja Gavini, from Frisco, were killed in a two-vehicle crash, that also left one other person dead, Sunday evening in Frisco, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before 7:00 p.m. February 23, at the intersection of FM 423 and De Webb Boulevard.

Police said a teenager was driving a Ford F-150 when they hit a black Acura that was attempting to make a turn.

According to witnesses, the pickup driver had a green light, and the Acura had a flashing yellow arrow at the time of the crash.

The three people in the Acura, 42-year-old Premnath Ramanatham, of Frisco, Avula and Gavini, were declared dead at the scene.

The pickup driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
