Woman Hospitalized after San Antonio Crash at Wurzbach Road and Cairo Drive

San Antonio, Texas (September 1, 2022) – A woman was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash involving a VIA bus in San Antonio on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The wreck occurred at about 7:34 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, at the intersection of Wurzbach Road and Cairo Drive.

According to the authorities, the woman was driving a sedan eastbound on Wurzbach Road in the wrong direction when she crashed into the VIA bus.

At least three other vehicles became involved in the crash.

The woman driving the sedan was transported to a hospital in unknown condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
